OPTOKON EDFA - 2:
The CLA is a family of low noise, high performance EDFA, Erbium
Doped Fiber Amplifiers, designed to support cost effective and
turnkey amplification solutions for fiber optical networks –
both digital (Ethernet, SDH, SONET, ON) and analog.(CATV). The
CLA EDFA includes from 1 to totally 4 amplifiers in a single
chassis. These amplifiers could range from preamplifiers,
through inline amplifiers to very high power booster amplifiers.
Input sensitivity of the preamplifier module is as low as -36
dBm; the output power of the optical signal from the booster
amplifier can reach more than +30 dBm.
